Rain Pro, Rain’s advanced cryptocurrency trading platform, offers a number of features for experienced crypto traders. Below is a concise explanation of the main features on Rain Pro:

Order Book

The order book is an electronic record of an asset’s buy and sell activities on a trading platform or cryptocurrency exchange. It lists the buy and sell orders for a specific cryptocurrency, providing a detailed view of the quantity bid (buy orders) or offered (sell orders) at each price point. It also shows details about the market participants behind each order, creating the "spread" (the difference between the highest bid and lowest ask). The order book helps users understand the potential market price direction for a cryptocurrency in both the short and long term. Rain is not an exchange in itself; the order book on Rain Pro represents our partner exchange(s) to which orders are routed.

Candlestick Chart

The candlestick chart visually represents the magnitude of price movements of a specific cryptocurrency using different colors. The 24-hour chart displays the following:

  1. High: the highest priced order of the day

  2. Low: the lowest priced order of the day

  3. Open: the first price order of the day

  4. Close: the last price order of the day

  5. Volume: the total value of the cryptocurrency traded during the day

Interpreting the Candlestick Chart

The chart creates patterns that give traders a visual idea of price movement:

  • A red candlestick indicates that the close is lower than the previous day's close.

  • A green candlestick indicates an increase in price since the previous day.

Market Summary

The market summary is displayed in the bar above the candlestick chart (top left corner) and provides an overview for a selected asset (e.g., BTC-BHD, where BTC is the base currency and BHD is the quote currency). It covers:

  1. Bid: the highest price a buyer is willing to pay, representing the current highest bid in the order book.

  2. Ask: the lowest price a seller is willing to accept, representing the current lowest ask in the order book.

  3. Change: the percentage change of the quote cryptocurrency in the last 24 hours.

  4. Volume: the total trading volume in the last 24 hours for the quote cryptocurrency.

  5. Last Trade Price: the most recent price at which a trade occurred.

  6. 24h High: the highest recorded price in the last 24 hours.

  7. 24h Low: the lowest recorded price in the last 24 hours.

  8. Last: the last documented price for a selected crypto-fiat pair.
