Rain offers multiple ways for customers to deposit fiat and buy crypto. The available options, processing times, and limits vary depending on your location. Below are the current supported methods:
Bahrain
In Bahrain, there are two primary deposit methods: Fawri and Fawri+. Fawri is used for standard transfers, has no specific limit, and typically processes within one business day. It is often used for amounts exceeding 3,000 BHD. Fawri+ is a faster option completed within 24 hours, with a daily limit of 3,000 BHD per IBAN.
Steps to deposit via Fawri or Fawri+
Tap Deposit.
Enter the amount you want to deposit.
Choose the source bank account and tap Next.
You will see the deposit instructions, including our IBAN.
Copy the IBAN and send the amount using your bank’s app or the BenefitPay app.
Return to the Rain app and tap I’ve made the bank transfer.
GCC
You can deposit funds via bank transfer using our IBAN. This method allows you to transfer money directly from your personal bank account to your Rain account within 1-4 working days.
Steps to deposit via bank transfer
Make sure your bank account is added in the payment methods section. Here’s how.
Tap Deposit on the home page.
Enter the amount you want to deposit.
Select the bank you will be transferring from and tap Next.
Copy our IBAN and other necessary information for your bank transfer. You will also receive an email with deposit instructions.
Complete your bank transfer, then tap I’ve made the bank transfer. Please note this is a manual step; Rain does not automatically pull funds from your account, so you must initiate the transfer through your bank’s portal.
United Arab Emirates (AED accounts)
In the UAE, you can deposit AED into your Rain account using two methods: Easy Deposit or traditional bank transfer.
Steps to use Easy Deposit
Go to Portfolio and select your AED account.
Tap Deposit and choose Connect Your Bank under Easy Bank Deposit.
Follow the prompts that will appear on your screen to connect safely.
Enter the amount you wish to deposit and complete the OTP verification.
After linking, go back to Portfolio and select your AED account again.
Choose your connected bank, confirm the details, and enter the amount you wish to transfer.
Complete the transfer to see a Deposit Confirmed screen with all details.
Steps to use bank transfer
Link your UAE bank account to your Rain account. Here’s how.
Initiate a deposit by submitting a deposit request on your Rain account.
The banking details and instructions will appear. You will also receive them via email.
Transfer funds via bank transfer and then tap the I’ve made the bank transfer. Please note this is a manual step; Rain does not automatically pull funds from your account, so you must initiate the transfer through your bank’s portal.
Rain does not apply deposit fees and credits the exact amount received. You will receive email updates regarding the status of your deposit. If you have any questions, please contact our support team.
